Top Contenders

Michael Daboul

Michael Daboul placed seventh at the 2024 Olympia after delivering an impressive top-five finish at last year’s Arnold Classic. This year, he has a strong opportunity to break into the top three if he brings peak conditioning and muscle density to the stage. Daboul, a former Arnold Classic UK champion, boasts an impressive résumé filled with multiple career victories and continues to be a serious threat in any Classic Physique lineup.

Logan Franklin

Logan Franklin enters the competition as one of the division’s biggest dark-horse contenders, alongside rising stars Matthew Greggo and Junior Javorski. Franklin has built a reputation through his consistent presence at elite bodybuilding events, including the Olympia and New York Pro. A seasoned Arnold Classic competitor, he has stepped on this prestigious stage three times, highlighted by a top-three finish in 2021.

Mike Sommerfeld

Mike Sommerfeld heads into Columbus as a frontrunner after securing the runner-up position behind Chris Bumstead at the 2024 Olympia. With Bumstead officially stepping away from competition, Sommerfeld is now in prime position to ascend to the top of the Classic Physique ranks. However, before staking his claim as the division’s new standard-bearer, he must first seize the opportunity to capture his first Arnold Classic title.

Wesley Vissers

Wesley Vissers solidified his status as an elite competitor by defeating Ramon Dino en route to his Arnold Classic victory last year. He remains the only former champion set to take the stage in Columbus, adding even more anticipation to his title defense. After an eighth-place finish at the 2024 Olympia, Vissers has been focused on refining his conditioning and overall aesthetics as he aims for back-to-back Arnold Classic triumphs.
