Ronnie Coleman’s Supplement Brand Secures $15.4 Million Verdict Over Packaging Dispute

Ronnie Coleman Wins Court Case Against Packaging Companies Guilty of Fraud and Breach of Contract

Ronnie Coleman has been diligently pursuing personal fitness goals during his retirement. Amidst this, he also engaged in a five-week jury trial alongside his team against Western Packaging Inc. and Polyfirst Packaging Inc. Last week, the trial concluded with Coleman’s supplement company, RCBA Nutraceuticals, being awarded $15.4 million.

Coleman’s company accused the packaging companies of fraud, breach of contract, and deceptive practices. The companies were contracted to supply packaging for supplements, including specialized zipped bags for RCBA protein. However, the bags were defective, leaking protein powder and causing significant financial losses for Coleman’s company.

William R. Clayton, the lead trial counsel, released a statement after the jury’s verdict:

“In our opinion, this verdict sends a string message that fraudulent business practices won’t be tolerated. The jury delivered a resounding verdict that holds the defendants accountable.”

Ronnie Coleman announced the verdict on Wednesday and shared a statement on Instagram. He has been working hard to regain full strength and aims to walk unassisted within 18 months. Coleman has been undergoing stem cell treatments every few months, which he believes are helping alleviate his pain.

Over his life, Coleman has undergone 13 surgeries, starting with injuries in high school. His recovery journey and career were highlighted in his documentary, Ronnie Coleman: The King, which aired on Netflix and is now available on Prime.
